2017 Show Results:

Carmen McKenna rode Star at the 4h Maryland State Fair at Timonium Fair Grounds and received a Reserve Champion. Her results are as followed: 
Showmanship and grooming - 5th 

Walk - 2nd

Walk/trot equitation - 1st

Walk/trot hack - 1st

Walk/trot command - 5th

Over fences 12" - 3rd

Walk/trot/canter - 2nd

Walk/trot/canter hack - 3rd

Walk/trot/canter command - 2nd

Mare confirmation - 3rd

Speed classes:

Plug - 1st

Figure 8 - 1st

2016 Show Results
Tara Weaver - 6th place in all 3 of her classes out of 9 people
Willow Kurtz - 1st place in her jumping class. Reserve Champion.
Avery Rosolowski - Rode Timmy and placed 2nd in her jumping class and a 4th and 5th in her flat classes. She has since been Reserve and Grand Champion at separate shows

Carmen Tilton 5th, 6th, and 5th in mini short stirrup division 
Tara Weaver - Rode Timmy and placed a 4th & 5th place in her flat classes and 3rd in jumping out of 10 people
Caroline Pettigrew- 5th in her flat class

Reserve Champion - Tess Bugbee on Timmy
7th & 8th - Ally Polson on Rowdy
4th & 4th - Tera Weaver on Gem

Spring/Summer Hartford County Show 2012 Results 
Willow Kurtz and King/Belle/Rocky
Modified Hunter: 3rd and 4th place, The June 23rd show Willow received 3- 6th places on Rocky and on Belle 2-6th and one 5th against heavy competition-
MILL SERIES Aug. 19th.Willow on King: low hunter 2'3" course a -3rd. Course B 4th., Combo -2nd., and under saddle 1st place.

Leigh Heist on Rowdy: Mill Series Aug.19th. Novice Equitation- 2- 6th. places,and a 5th place.

Holly Schultz received two 1  st place and a 2nd place in Green Horse Hunter at 2'9". They received grand champion in that division at HHSA on June 23rd, riding Rocky. She and Willow Kurtz received a 3rd place in 'Pairs' also.
Congrats to all our riders as they has a lot of competition!!!

  SUMMER CAMP NEWS
Our SUMMER CAMPS of 2016 were very successfully completed and congratulations to our older girls who were volunteer helpers: Holly Schultz, Alyssa Hofmeister, Candace Boyle (2015), and Ethan Daviau. All of the student helpers worked well with our students and congratulations to each of them.

TO BE A RESPONSIBLE SUMMER CAMP HELPER:
**** Remember you must have completed a summer camp yourself here at the farm, before you will be considered for a helpers' position and be at least 13 years old, responsible willing worker, and show some leadership potential and have good grades in school.****
 
An advanced camp for students scheduled for August yearly for people who want to improve showing techniques, go on daily trail rides, and help to plan out and begin helping to make a new cross country course. You must be able to canter and jump to attend this camp and show your abilities in an "on the horse interview" with one of our  instructors!  No helpers will be necessary for the advanced camp.

Horse show rates:
 Training at horse show $40
Use of a ridge meadow horse or pony $20
Trailer rental: $35 per person/horse
Trailer fees : 1. 65 per mile divided by number of students or $105 divided by number of students going if under three.
